Vegetable Splash

I've seen this a few times and wanted to give it a go. This was done with a 20gal fish tank, black poster board (behind the tank), 2 speedlights on either side of the tank. Camera: Rebel XTi & 70-200 2.8 at 1/200 - f8.0 or f9.0 can't quite remember.

The light isn't to bright on the front of the veg. I think I need a 3rd light to make this really nice. As a first attempt tho, I'm quite pleased. I didn't have a squeegee or anything to take the splashes off of the glass, next time!

Youre right about that third light and the squeegee. Even a reflector from a white poster board would have helped a lot. You might want to consider increasing the saturation a little bit. Otherwise I think these came out really good!

Thanks for the tips mike. I'll have to give a reflector a try next time.
