Thanks Nick, yes we both wanted the bride and groom photos to be good and one groom men and I did help the hired with his layout when we could. He was appreciative, those photos I did not shoot. Left it to the hired pro.

My wife said where the more formal ones I said I left it up to the hired photographer. She said you still should have taking some. ;)

I said to the wife I was there to get the casual photos of the bride and groom since I knew them well they would be more relaxed when I photographed them.

The hired photographer was great, at times he was joking he mention let Mark take the shot with the big camera gear. :lol: I laughed and said remember you are the hired pro. It was fun but I know wedding photography is hard work and loooooong hours.

A few times on the formal photos that I did not take but help setup, I had to tell the party remember everyone look towards the pro. :)

I just took a look at your site Nick very nice. :) I understand what you mean about more space in the photo, gives another dimension. I did a few posts here with more photo's showing some variety but ended up deleting those other posts with photos and posted a link as per posting rules.
