I'm guessing this isn't so good from the lack of responses :) don't like it? let me know why. Bonus if you get the phoenix reference.

To be honest, nothing really draws me into the picture. It is a well exposed image, but something about the composition is off.... You can see a little barrel distortion going on which doesn't work in an image like this. First thing I notice when I look at the picture is that bright green house in the foreground. What role do you want the green house to play?? Either it needs to be in the picture to make a statement or taken out. Not just a portion of it in - It is a distraction unless it was put there for an apparent reason. Otherwise, the technical aspects of the image are good...

Thanks for the response. I was going for the buildings rising from the ruins in Atlanta (title references burning of Atlanta from civil war). I'll have to rework this in the future :)

Its always nice to have something to anchor the buildings, like a foundation in the foreground? That may help it. Good concept though, worth investigating more.

A crop works for me. Something like taking out some of the shabby building - a little bit of that thing goes a long way. Maybe cut the top off the tall building so it looks endless.

It's not bad but for building images it doens't have enough intrigue. The colors are great and the shot is clear, but the picture lacks an interesting point of focus.

No1 has a little too much going on for me, It neither show off the old building or the tall one, think it lacks a little bit of direction. No2 is nice, better looking building and a pair of eyes to draw me in.

Just out of curiosity, what the hell is that billboard for? It's strange...

I like the Dali billboard the best without any buildings.

Oh, a Dali billboard. I guess I should have asked my wife, she would have picked that out quickly.
