I am wondering why I don't see more talk about the dynamic range of our cameras. Do most of the current cameras have a similar or even the same dynamic range. How would you measure this. Is it inherent to the sensor does iso, digic processor, mega pixels effect this. I have read the specs from the canon website and see no info on dynamic range. I read in a magazine about the new sigma sensor having a higher dynamic range. Every time I read a post about what's next in cameras it's better iso, more mega pixels, better auto focus. I didn't find much on this searching google so even a link would be cool.
Thanks

Take their ratings with a grain of salt though...it's certainly not the most objective website ever.
