Hi - I've done a search and checked.
I don't have any layers
In IMAGE > MODE it is RGBcolor
I can't click on 8bits/chanel as it is greyed out...
Any ideas?? It's driving me nuts!
Thanks

But I've never heard of a ".pse" file -- are you sure that was the extension? Maybe there is such a thing -- is it supposedly a "special Elements" file type? I'd say that would be a file type to avoid if you don't want to have problems. Know that tiff and psd will both take layers and then you can when you are ready convert the files to jpeg without changing the file type (although you may want to flatten it, depending on how Elements handles layers when creating a jpeg (whether it automatically flattens or not).
