Tomorrow evening the Jewish New Year holiday, Rosh Hashana, starts. Below is the card I prepared for sending to friends and family and I would like to use it to wish all my friends here a fruitful, peaceful and happy year.
The pomegranate (photographed in my neighbor's yard) is one of the traditional symbols of the holiday because its hundreds of seeds represent fertility and prosperity.
The caption under the photo is taken from a traditional blessing recited during the holiday.
