Anyone have a diagnosis for this problem? I just started to encounter it on my 18 month old G10:
1. Turn camera on and no picture in the monitor, only the settings. Menus are also capable of being displayed.
2. Press the "Disp" button several times and maybe a picture appears on the monitor. If not, turn the camera off and back on and start again.
3. After getting a monitor picture I take a few shots then start getting almost all white photos.
4. Turn the camera off and start again and maybe again etc.
5. If I take a photo with no monitor and via the viewfinder I get an all black photo.
6. Photos already taken are viewable on the monitor.
