New to the DSLR. For the shots on myself, I used a 10 shot burst, manual focus, on a timer delay.

Composition and everything is pretty cool. Im not too into yo-yos but the images are clear and in focus.

I like them and they are a good start. In the future try to isolate the yoyo more. Perhaps wear a completely black shirt and stand so the direct light is only hitting the yoyo. Nice.

Thanks. I review yoyos professionally (if interested, yoyoskills.com) and the step up to the Canon T2i was because I reached the limits of what my Olympus c7070 could do.

I like the second one the best. That's a frame I would keep.

I'd like to see the last yo-yo operate. You know the chain one. Seriously all are great, but #5 is my fav.

Seriously? That is your job? Wikkid cool gig!

I like the way you were able to stop the action on these shots.

What is the composition on the yo-yos? Looks like annodized aluminum.

I have a real job (System Admin) but my main hobby that consumes 50 hours a week is YoYoSkills.com
Most yoyos are annodized aluminum
