Last week I purchase the new 70-200 2.8 MKII, I couldn't believe myself - after so many extraordinary post regarding this lens I had to get my hands on the almost impossible to focus one, very inconsistent and also with some strange IS noise. Mainly it only focused at 200mm and at very good light other than that it was way off. MA didn't helped either.

Just finished talking to the B&H guys and as always without any trouble they'll be replacing it with another one, thats what I really love about BH. Hopefully this time I get it in excellent working conditions. (Fingers cross).

Oh well,

Alex

So I guess I'm not the only person ever getting a brand new item that didn't function properly? Who would have thought!?!

I've had many dealings with B&H, and every one has been pleasant. I've read some criticism about B&H, but they are 1000% reliable on my list. And, that's a very short list!

Good luck on your replacement!
