I found that the mounting holes on the Flash Zebra ETTL cords are not very deep, which makes mounting the it on the ProMedia flash bracket loose. I have an OEM Canon ETTL cord and am able to secure it into place. So it's not the fault of the Promedia flash bracket.

i had a problem like that once when i lost the original screw on one of my brackets.. the replacement screw i bought at a local camera shop was a bit too long. you could put a washer or something under the flash zebra cable to space it out a bit.

Yeah, I was thinking of the same thing. I was going to look for a small rubber washer.

I'm slowly setting up my equipment. It's a very slow process, since I'm at home helping my mom. She has cancer and not doing well. So I can only do it when I'm free, since my "Studio", if you can call it that, is in the basement, while my mom is a floor above. So it's hard for me to keep running up and down.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not claiming to be a product photographer, nor would I even consider myself as a photographer. The following photos were taken hastily.

One of my main concerns was the clearance between the fingers and the bracket part that hinges. As you can see, there's allot of room, about 1 1/4" (about 3.175 cm) clearance from the grip to that little round hinge part. Of course, I do have skinny fingers. I'm just hoping that someone that uses this doesn't have humungous fat fingers....

Here's another shot of the bottom plate. As you can see, I use the Opteka handstrap and LumaLoop. I can easily remove the bracket, without major issues with the handstrap and LumaLoop getting in the way.

I can provide more pictures of the bracket. So far, I LOVE it! The guys at Pro Media are great to work with! Hopefully, when I get time, I will provide a brief review.

It does feel balanced in vertical or horizontal mode. I'll try to get more shots tomorrow.

Any update on how this is going a couple of weeks in?

Sorry, I'll get something going, hopefully by tonight. Finally got the white tile boards to use as the base and background.

G'day Ed,

nothing to be sorry about, I was more wondering how it's going handling wise, how you like it, etc.

You're a more useful source of information than the place that makes them :-)

I've tried taking a photo, but the lighting isn't that great. It's late here, so I'm not going to mess with it. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have time.

Cool, no panic.

How are you enjoying using it? Does it handle well? Ease of use?
