I've been mostly landscapes and still art. trying to get into portraits with the start of my studio.

this shot was mostly a fly by quick shot. "hey dad let me take a picture of ya." kinda thing.

anyways would like some feed back on it.

I'm not sure that's entirely necessary, but the head looks at a funny angle to the body, somehow I'd feel more comfortable seeing the body tilted slightly towards the direction the head's pointing.

Light is good , sharpness is good, composition is too"square" for my taste.
Subject too central.

Ok the subject and pose were covered by others, so I'll speak of the lighting and technicals...

I really like how you have your setup. Your subject is evenly lit and well lit. I can't tell where any of your lights are and you have managed to do a good job seperating your subject from the background. Good job. I can't wait to get my new studio set up.
