You are the Master hummingbird shooter, so I will never even try to shoot any. These are some of the best I've seen. Excellent work Jim.

Man those are sweet and the feather detail is tight. I really like No. 1 as he shows off his throat. That's one helluva a light set up; got any pics of the set up?
Oh btw sounds like you are a Chevy person

Thanks.....yep, I'm a Chevy/GMC fancier indeed....
Here is a shot of my flash set-up + my other obsession ........:)

Wow! Truly spectacular shots! These birds look "well fed" and ready for migration. :)
I don't suppose you have any "behind the scenes" shots of your multi-flash + camera setup?

Thank you very much, they are defiantly fattening up for the long journey south....:)
The pic of my set-up is right above this post.......:D

I have been humbled. Great, great shots jim. I have two questions. Is the round canister below the target area also used as a lighting supplement? And extremely off topic, it that a Mandevilla in the top right hand corner? If so, I didn't think they'd do so well in a hanging basket. If not, the last two sentences have been a complete waste of my and your time. lol
Thanks
Tony

BTW- beautiful 'Vette

Great setup and they are not afraid to come near all that (haha). Is that a real flower in front of the feeder and are you in a blind or hiding near something? What is the purpose of the cardboard box and the painting (?) attachment to it? This gives me some ideas for next season.

Nice Vette that is my retirement car even though I'm a Ford man - Mustang Cobra.

Thanks Tony......:)......the round canister is simply an old paint can used to support the articulating arm the flash is mounted on.
The hanging flower on the right is a Mandevilla and was purchased as a climbing vine type flowering plant. I re-potted it in the hanging basket and it does quite well this way.....
