Okay all,
Using a softbox T1i, 18-55 and a 285HV. First attempt at strobist. I am particularly lost when it comes to manual settings especially with the flash. I have been reading as much as I can, any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!

Looks good to me. Just a slight hot spot on her forehead. Plus the arms may look overexposed, but it could also be my laptop monitor.
