A couple of birds left in Oregon for the summer. I guess the migratory birds should start coming back soon. I miss my warblers and finches...

Not many people post shots of either of these birds. Nice captures. When the pine nuts are ready here at the Canyon, these Jays come in flocks of 2-3 hundred. I have a bunch of pinyon pines in my yard full of cones. I hope to see some!

Thank you, Steve! Yes, I didn't even see any Pinyon jays until they started coming in large flocks. There must have been around 200 birds on the trees. I could hear them from a distance, and didn't even know what the noise was... until they started invading the area. They are cool birds though. :)
