Just finished sorting through my shots from the Gold Cup. Been a while since I was behind the camera, so it was nice to have a long weekend of it again, and a top event it was too.

So here's a quick selection, all using 7D with various things attached, any comments more than welcome....

1/ Always enjoy watching these

3/ Elan over Hill Top

4/ Battling 500cc F3's

5/ Made an effort to get more shots around the paddock this time

6/ TR4 out of Old Hall

7/ Battle of the europeans

8/ And a posing D-type to finish

Stunning shots!

What settings did you use on the 7D?

Thanks very much. All shutter priority, think most of these will be 1/250-1/320. EXIF should be there on them all to see.

Cheers, David

Wow, great series. It seems like I'm almost there by the fence. I miss that kind of action from the 60's. Well done! :D

Sheesh those roll bars on the F3's aren't going to do much.

Nice set of shots.

Currently just a P&S, but watch this space.

Thanks. It was nicely timed wasn't it, shame Saturday was a bit soggy :)
