Got mine in the mail today, so just a few first impressions..
Packaging wasn't the great, but i wasn't expecting much to begin with. The bag and the ring were just in a box, taped up and shipped. Luckily, no damage occur (as far as i can tell). Open the bag, everything thing is there, but the lack of instructions scared me a bit. I've never owned a softbox/octa before, but as a college student, i figured it out pretty quickly. Speed ring feels pretty solid, just a tad lighter than the PCB one that i've got. Put the poles in and mounted the main part on my AB800. Woah. This thing is massive. I mean, it's huge (ha). I'm already impressed by the build quality. The poles flex just right and fit pretty good. My AB start to droop on the pivot, so i tighten the allen bolt and it's all better. Sits alright with no weights on a standard light stand, but i'm looking at grabbing a heavy duty stand just for my own peace of mind. Put the back section on (that stops light from reflecting back out near the speedring). All velcro, so it's simple. Put in the internal diffuser. A bit thinner than the shoot though umbrellas i've got. velco again. Put on the front diffuser. velco. easy. Fits pretty good, just a little on the loose side (which may be the way it's designed? idk). awesome. all set up. took about 10 minutes. not bad for my first octa.
Plug in my ab800, plug in a yongnuo reciever, turn it on, full power. I stand back in my tiny, wait, that's an understatement...miniscule dorm room, and trigger it. Wow, the light it throws in crazy. I figured my AB800 may be a little weak and lose a lot of light through the diffusers. Not the case. I'm very impressed.
So from a first time octa owner, long time photographer, two thumbs up. The price is right for a 5' box. If your looking for a box for headshots or product photography...STAY AWAY. this thing is serious.
I've got a shoot coming up soon, so i'll post some second impressions after that.

edit- here's a quick pic i snapped with my phone. not the best, but it gives you a good idea. how big it is. 10' x 15' dorm room. The top is about 7' high on the stand.
