I'm looking to buy the Canon ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit and I was wondering if it can be used inside the grip. It doesn't look like it's possible to keep the battery grip closed, since the power cable is connected to the emulated battery. And I know the camera will shut off when then battery door on the grip is open, so leaving the door open with the emulated battery doesn't look like it's feasible. So I'm just curious if anyone used a Canon AC adapter kit for their camera with the grip.

There's a small "button" in the grip that slides out of the way when you use the AC adapter. The cord will push the "button into the grip, and then you can close the door...

Sweet! Thanks. Going to place on order for the adapter. Planning to do timelapse and I don't want the battery dying on me.

I plan on getting one too, but this thought had not occurred to me yet. That's good to know.
