I have been lugging too much stuff to weddings. I suffer from the "Bring it all" complex. I struggle to get through doors and look at stairs like they are mountains.
I have been looking at bags that will help with my problem but think it may be a combination of bags that will help.
I have a rolling bag that stores all of my cameras and lenses. On top of the rolling bag I stack my tripod, light stand, step stool and bracket sideways (makes it tough to get through doors.)
I know the obvious answer is to not carry everything but...
What do you guys and gals do who also suffer from this insatiable disease?

prioritize what you need and plan ahead. are you really using each and every lens per shoot? Document what lenses you use after each shoot and then decide to lighten the load.

A roller bag might really help. Usually a good option for weddings. If you need to...get larger wheels. Like a hand cart or wheeled dolly.

I pretty much use all I bring.

I have a rolling bag. Larger wheels would be nice.
Really looking for ideas on how to stay mobile and agile with the gear I am bringing now.

Sherpas :)

that would be awesome!
I would change the name of the studio and market like crazy.
Maybe I will just try a donkey, then I would not have to change the name.

How about a Llama? Or maybe the Dalai Lama. He could carry your stuff and officiate the wedding! Here is a link (bad)... http://www.sodahead.com …/06/dalai_lama.jpg&q=lama (external link)

Then you can get shots of the bride and groom on a Llama too. BONUS!

They do sell light weight aluminum dollies that fold up with large wheels.

I have an assistant, but if you are going it alone, all you need are your bodies, batteries, your wide angle, a macro and your 70-200. Leave the rest at home. I don't think the answer is a bigger bag.

I have 2 assistants and I can't keep my gear out in the open. It's too risky. I usually carry all I need, not leaving anything in the car if it's parked far away. But I stopped taking everything, just what I need, but that doesn't mean I can get away with getting less than the 3 bags and a tripod.

My children and grandchildren are the reason, but it's the passion that drives me to get the perfect image of everything.

Also, I got one of those teacher crates on wheels. That helps me take the 2 bags and the tripod and the other is the TT International. Don't have to carry anything.
