Not the exactly what I was hoping for. But it is my first non the less. I spotted 3 antilope a few humdred yards of the road by Mammoth Creek in Utah, and found a dirt access road not to far away. I parked the truck and headded into the wood where I thought they were headding. Unfortunitly I came in befind them. I got 3 shots off and a 4 wheeler came racing down the dirt road and spooked them. I have been trying for 2 yaers to get shoots of them in this location.

It is always neat to see the PRONGHORNs in a setting other than just on the prairie. I was fortunate to find a small group this summer up in the mountains in Colorado myself.

Just giving you a hard time about the name, I grew up in Nebraska and they were always Pronghorns, Pronghorn Antelope, or Antelope to us, but now I really only call them Pronghorns.

Nice capture on the mule deer, you might try cropping it a bit to have her in the lower left third. Also, you might try and darken the exposure just a bit, because the grass has probably tricked the meter and over exposed her, and not giving the more tawny buckskin color they have.

Keep up the efforts in getting your Pronghorn.

Congrats. (They aren't antelopes, but most people think they are.)
