Two of the Coxcomb formation in Sedona. First was taken in the rain with the sun peeking through (200mm), second after the storm had passed (135mm or so):

All I can say is WOW! I just went through the whole thread, and what an inspiration. I want to thank everyone who has contributed here. Some really fine images. I'm leaving the day after Labor Day for a trip to Idaho, and I've decided that I'm going to focus on using my 70-200 F4 L IS (with and without the 1.4 II converter), and see if I can come up with anything worthy of inclusion in this most excellent thread.

By the way, first post here. Hope to have more in the future. :D

I just discovered this thread and really enjoy the photos posted here. I just recently got a 70-200 F4 to go along with my 5D. Now I need to get a PL filter for this lens.
Here are a couple from my first trip to Ruby Beach here in Washington.
