@Grizz: Very nice; last year, I only got one quick look at it as we landed in Anchorage and that was it. Will have to get back up that way a few more times and pray for clearing.

I totally recommend the 300 f4 as a terrific all-round lens. Great for landscapes and a good macro with tubes attached. It's not super heavy, but rather than add it to my backpack I carry it in the zippered pouch it came in slung on a belt on my waist. I hardly notic the weight on my hips, and it's easy to get hold of.
