I have been cruising around the Landscape forum and started to decide it was mainly being used to show off Photoshop, saturation and amazing tricks of the camera. Then I found this thread which has some absolutely amazing landscape shots. I am in awe. Many of these shots just prove that truly beautiful landscape photography will never go out of style.

I have also been havving a good look around the Landscape forum. I take your point about Photoshop, but I am also overwhelmed by the locations. Every now and then there is quite simply a good photograph.

Amazing lighting. This is one of the best photo's like this I have ever seen. If I remember someone made a comment "liquid gold"!

Is this a 'pier shot'? Very atmospheric.

It's not although it sure does look like a pier. That is the north shore of Lake Ontario in Burlington.

Shot at 330mm and 400mm respectively. These two shots were posted in another post I started under Nature & Landscaped.
