Thank you. Yes the horse really DID help, I have exactly the same pic without the horse and its pretty boring.

Like most of landscape pics, putting people/animal makes the overall picture look so different.

These were done across a bay from one side of an island which is half a mile or 77km or so.

5D classic + Tamron 150-600 @ 300mm, F11. 21 horizontal images with heavy overlap to help create seamless stitches. The actual image is 27,034 x 2,191 or 59MP, and is 77 inches wide.
