This is nothing more than a visual for those that want to see the size of one modifier relative to another. Sometimes we don't get a sense of how large or small it is until there is a sense of scale.

I've 'stacked' the 69" Octa, 53" Midi Octa and 39" Deep Octa with the centers closely aligned. You can see the relative sizes from the front and side.

Nice. Funny thing, i've never owned the 53"... you've got the whole set now. You've put yourself in a position to 'have' to upgrade to the indirect. :)

Hey Brendan,

Perhaps it will be an upgrade down the road but I'm going to be just fine with these for a while. I've got many others things that have priority and will make more of a difference in workflow and the ability to create images.

The El Octa is always in the back of my mind and one day it will work its way forward. :D

Now only thing missing is a model (or any person) next to them to see how big they are. :D

But thank you for posting this! Helps a bit to understand how deeper is the DO.

I realize there is perspective distortion but that's an 8 foot ceiling, if that helps at all.

Robert, can you straighten out the Octas so that the Elinchrom letterings are on the side and right side up. It's driving my OC self crazy! LOL  ;)

Thanks for sharing the picture. I was wondering how large the 69" Octa is. Now I have a better idea. :)

I was wondering, too, but I was interested in the 53". Yeah, thanks for this Rob.

The Elinchrom branding on the side drove me nuts, too. I just didn't want to say anything, but I'll mention it since Leo said it. LOL.
