On a backpacking trip in the Rawah Wilderness in Colorado I saw this dead stump and thought the textures were great for a B&W photo. Taken with my XSi and the Canon 15-85mm IS and converted in LR3.

Exposure 0.006 sec (1/160) Aperture f/6.3 Focal Length 15 mm ISO Speed 200
