If anyone had a chance to buy the 1D MK IIn or the 50D for around the same price, which camera body would you buy and why? bw!

The 1D. Speed, weathersealing, and the shutter sound/performance. It's unreal compared to an xxD

1DIIN as well.. it lacks some "cool things" like Live View, but hey.. it's a 1D ;)

Photography is about GEAR and not talent or practice. Practice won't make you a better photographer. Expensive equipment will. =D

I just realized you have a 1Ds II already, so you already know the deal with the 1D series. I have a 1D MKIII, 40D, and now a 5D II.

My 40D feels like poo compared to my MKIII, and it's going on sale once I'm done with my residency.
The 5D feels like poo compared to my MKIII, but it is full frame, and has a 1-stop advantage over my MKIII. However, it's merely the video feature that's keeping it in my bag and forcing me to sell off my 1D.

If I could have it all, I'd have the MKIV and not think twice.
