A stack of 20 3min lights & 20 darks. Stacked in DSS and levels & curves in PS7. And a ton of thanks to all the tips provided here on POTN!

Very well done Jeff.

Somewhere in the processing the black point got clipped. I was amazed at how much faint nebulosity is hidden at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions outside the rim of the bright portion of the nebula. I grabbed the low end in curves and slid it straight up and "bam!" the faint stuff is still there. The fact that it's visible with the black point clipped means that a bit more careful processing from stack to Photoshop will bring out even more of the faint stuff. There's a good bit being lost in there but you've captured some very nice data.

This is what I saw when I shifted the curves. Take note that the histogram shows the black point now shifted to the right from where it was. It should not look flat on the left side but rather have a taper similar to the right side, this was a result of a quick slide on my part to show some of the nebulosity hidden in there. I'm pretty sure there's even more that was lost in the clip.
