The sky looks good, but the foreground is too underexposed. A GND filter would help with this issue, or you can sort it out in post-processing by taking multiple exposures.

I actually didnt like the foreground so I just made it more of a silhouette

Where in IA was this shot? I grew up around Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.

Is it just me, or is the photo not not level? It seems to me that the parallel lines in the clouds would be mostly parallel with the horizon (especially the lines in the clouds nearest to the horizon), and since those lines are angling down to the right it makes me seriously question the levelness of the photo.

I like the silhouette.

If you have either Photoshop or Lightroom just use the straighten tool and drag it parallel with that along the bottom-most cloud line (the slightly darker cloud just above the trees in the center of the image).

As perspective lines near the horizon they become flatter and flatter until they merge with the horizon, so that last line in the clouds is almost certainly nearly flat to the horizon; or close enough anyway. I just tried it with your image and I think it looks much better...try it and see what you think.:)
