It looks like Minolta has followed the Ni*on school of marketing. Today in DPReview there is an announcement of a new 35mm f1.4 lens designed for digital. However, the lens will not be available until 'Spring 2006'. Way to go, Minolta, beat the Canon Press release so you can hope that it will influence some purchases.

So I'm sure that all of the Minolta DSLR enthusiasts are salivating over this announcement, and both of them have placed their pre-orders. :lol: :lol: :lol:
