In reading the discussions about battery grips, I am apparently in the minority- I prefer AA lithiums to the rechargeable battery packs. That being said, I hope someone on the forum might have a AA battery magazine- BGM-E3A for the BG-E3- that they are not using and might be willing to part with. (I bought a used XTi with the BG, but forgot to ask before buying it if he had both inserts; figures, he only had the one for the two rechargeable packs!)

I have an email in to Canon about getting one, but thought the forum might be just as quick and maybe a dollar or two cheaper!

(I apparently haven't been on the forum long enough to post in the classifieds, so I hope this is okay.)

It says it will work, but the picture doesn't look right- I think the BG-E3 tray has the batteries going the other way. I believe Adorama has one used, and there's one on eBay. Canon's email said they didn't have the trays, but I may need to call the parts department directly.

Thanks for the response.

Your right about the battery orientation, the BG-E3 has the battery trays sliding in from the side and not as the B&H shows.

I'd jump on the Adorama one, there are not many of these around being sold by themselves.
