Who went to the David Ziser Dallas seminar? How many knew a tornado had touched down and was moving in our direction during the seminar? Pretty scary, but everything was ok and David Ziser was great!

Thanks Mr. Ziser for putting on a great seminar.

I went to his Phoenix seminar a couple of weeks ago. The 2010 tour, I really enjoyed the seminar and I learned a lot of good tips.
He does cover a lot of basics but adds in some advanced tips also.
For me- I found it very informative and I enjoy seeing how a veteran of the industry goes about things after years of experience.
Like DAZ says the difference between average and greatness comes in the small details and going the extra mile past your competition.
I am really inspired to get out of the mundane rut I've been in the last year and really try and take things to a new level. Work on getting some creative shots not just "covering" the event(wedding).

Yes, he is very good at inspiring people. I have seen his videos on kelbytraining.com and I have his book. I highly recommend getting his book, as it goes over most of what he talked about in the seminar. Excellent reference, one of the best books I've seen that goes over every little detail, talks about his gear, lighting, etc.

We didn't leave until after 11pm as his flight was delayed from Phoenix to Dallas because of the weather, so I didn't get to talk to him directly, but it was worth every penny.

I was not at the seminar but my S.I.L. called to say 3 twisters had touched down near childrens hospital which caused me great concern.
