Helped out at a fund-raiser at a local dog park recently.

The temperatures were in the 90's and a local business donated two tons of ice. In addition, several pools were set out for the dogs to use.

I think the dogs were more comfortable than the people...

Loved the second photo!!!! That is a great shot. I didn't know Boston Terriers came in red (if that is the correct color term).

The dogs in the ice - This is just so hilarious!!!

However many months of the year we experience these temperatures here in the tropics and I have never thought of that option for my fluffy dogs (bichon frises). Unfortunately mine hate anything to do with water and are just happy lying inside on the cool floor tiles with the air-conditioning on - such is life!!

Ahhh, AC is such a wonderful thing isn't it?! :) I had two shelties many years ago and boy those fur balls could block all the air coming out of the registers everytime they decided to lay down on one (which was everytime they stopped moving during the summer).

Two more. If there is ice, there will be huskies...
