Finally after almost 4 years the ol' Aztec is gone. There were a lot of miles and a lot of laughs in that car/truck/box. A lot of elk smooching too:)
here is the new Official GCPS ride.....05' nNssan X-Trail SE AWD Auto.
Canucks will know what it is but unfortunately our Southern friends cannot buy this SUV, yet. It will be released stateside for 06'. Folks in Europe, Oz and other countries will also know it.

Best feature? The big honkin' sunroof. No problem standing up through it and taking pictures of elk:):):):)

Speaking of that, perhaps we should initiate it with a trip to Omega so we can get elk slober all over it.

Sweet ride, Ian. Now, you gotta' put a lift kit on it, some really huge tires, a rope ladder so you can climb in and out, and a gun rack.

MUD FLAPS WITH THE CHROME SILHOUETTE OF A SEXY BABE ON THEM!!!!

Headers with straight-through exhaust so you can wake up your neighbor with the new Mustang.

Other than those few glaring omissions, it really looks nice.

It doesn't look nearly as much like a potato as the Aztek did.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Woo Hoo!! OK, so I guess that leaves me with the chuck wagon in the back. No complaints by me, as long as there's enough to eat back there.

Just look at all those windows in back! It will be much easier to spot the kangaroos....

Thank GAWD that you ditched the 'Tek. :)

Looks like it'll be a nice ride. Do you still want a new Gitzo Tour Bus?

Needs a little work, but there's room enough for Belmondo to take along a pile of tripods so that he can leave a trail back home.

There's NO WAY that one of his lenses would survive the fall out that back door.

Hell yeah. No truck is complete without the chrome mud flap girl!!! And a little POTN window etching.

Nice ride, Ian, much nicer than the Aztek.

Perfect, Phil! If this doesn't inspire him to do it right, the boy's brain dead.

Scott:

The next time a lens rolls out the door, I hope to catch it in my teeth before it hits the ground. I'd rather a dental bill than to see one my lenses suffer ever again.

I don't have the same attachment to my tripods, so that mistake will likely be made again, and again, and again, and.......

That would be awesome!! The mud flaps are an especially nice touch. I have a cool going out shirt that has twin mud flap girls on it. :-)
