First 6 are a bit too saturated for my taste but the action is good. nice job.

Thanks. Yes, I processed these a little rich in color, I was hoping for some feedback on that. I thought I would try something different here but maybe I went a little overboard? Thanks for the input ;)

First thing I thought was that these were just a bit too saturated. Second thought was this is a great set of images. Great captures and spot on focus. I wish high school games were played during the day. What lens were you shooting with for these?

Thanks guys, I'll take it down a notch then. I was using my 70-200 2.8 on all of these.

Been looking at a lot of gridiron shots on here this evening and these are by far the best without limbs cropped off all over the place, its also nice to see shots that have not been photoshopped to death

Thank you. I try to keep as much of the players full body in the shots as I can. Sometimes you only need a good facial expression to make a good shot though, like this straight right to the face for example :)

Ok, all of these have been re-edited and I did not increase the contrast or color saturation to any of them in post processing, they are pretty much straight jpegs from the camera with only some cropping, I hope this looks better ;)

I was excited to learn yesterday that I made my first sale with these college football pictures. Franklin linked my site (external link) on their web page and it has brought some traffic :D

Thanks for the input here everyone.

These are really nice. Really great clarity, sharpness to them. I didn't see them with your initial post processing (i.e., "oversaturated") but the images I see now look really nice in regard to color saturation on my screen.

You nailed exposure...thank goodness for cloudy days, huh? :)

great work! Congrats on the sale(s).

Thank you so much for saying that :D

I was happy with the results considering this is my first time shooting college football. I just made a couple more sales since my last post, so I must have done something right I guess. I absolutely LOVE shooting football, it's the most fun I have with a camera in my hand ;)
