I posted this in the 9/10 stop ND thread, but this one is cropped. I know i need to position myself slightly to the right and get a little closer next time to make the foreground more interesting. All the boringness to the left of the reflection drags it down. I also would LOVE some clouds to break up the DULL sky. Although I do like how I was able to get the topmost sky to match colors with the water.

Even with all that though, I'm missing something. I dont know if its in post processing, something technically I'm missing. Even with all those things, the image is a step behind the ones I'm chasing... help?

There's no such thing as clouds over the GGB. All you'll get is fog. Nice photo though.

To me the image looks very soft.

If you sharpen up the bridge it really pops out. If you turn your image editing flag on I can show you.

:-) yes you did.

This is with the bridge sharpened and the contrast boosted just a tad using curves.

so did you do that in PS? Because I used LR2 and adjustment brushes to get the bridge as good as I thought I could. Seems like my post processing may need more work than my composition! lol!
