D2 Football: Abilene Christian at Northeastern State

Shot a D2 football game last night in Oklahoma. Pretty fun game to watch. Not very even but fun to watch. 3 blocked punts if I remember correctly. ACU wins 43-13.

I wish I would have known you were in town, I would have come down and said hi. I shot the Riverhawks a little bit last year. Not much of a team huh? haha
I like the action in #3!

And all of the blocked punts are probably because this is the first year in 4 that we don't have an all american punter.

Next time you are in town shoot me a pm and I'll come down to the field and greet another POTN member back to Doc Wadley Stadium.

No. Unfortunately I had to work at my day job that evening.

Gotta love D2 football, where it isn't played for the crowds or the glory, but simply for the competition and a love of the game.

(Abilene Christian is ranked #5 in today's AFCA Coaches poll (my team (Valdosta State) is at #20 and I hope on the rise. Will learn a lot this Saturday about how they'll fare this year.)).

Minnesota-Duluth (first home game this Saturday night) moved up to 2nd.. but unfortunately is still 1 spot behind Grand Valley State, and in the same region as GVS so little chance to overtake them at least as far as polls go. (OK, hijack over.. back on-topic )

Re-hijacking for a second - but you almost overtook them this past weekend. I understand that GVSU came very close to losing. Heard it boiled down to a poor coaching decision late in the game by their opponent.
