How does everyone feel about Aperture 3 compared to Lightroom and photoshop? Especially for a wedding photographer. Also can it be installed on more than one computer? Thanks!

At the beginning, Aperture 3 was buggy for me....seems much better lately. I like the work flow, it fits my style. I rarely use photoshop now, more to remove objects, Aperture 3 does everything else and its quick brushes are a pleasure to use. It can be installed on 2 computers I believe.

I haven't used Lightroom since version 2. I can tell you that I use Aperture as my primary editing software. Do you need Photoshop, only if you're going to do cute things, but I can do 99% of what I need to do with Aperture 3.

Yes you use it on more than one machine, but not at the same time. I believe the license let's you to install it on 2 machines.

It's definitely worth it.

I know that Aperture 3 added some good capabilities so that it could catch up to Lightroom 2, so that is good news for Aperture users.

I've heard that Aperture has a "face recognition" algorithm, which if it works well might be a real plus for a wedding photog, LR has no such thing, but I don't have a Mac and so have no experience with such fancy stuff...check out the free trials!

I really haven't heard a lot as far as how Aperture stacks up against the latest and greates advancements in LR3 for things like Calibration profiles, Noise Reduction and Sharpening. Like I said, take your time and check out the free trials and take the time to read up on the various things each offer!
