Sorry if seven is a bit much, but as I got seven shots I liked I figured I might as well post all of them. Any comments/critiques appreciated.

I like them but others may bemoan the razor thin dof and softness whether intentional or not of some of the images.

Thanks! I was shooting in the shade so I was having to limit my aperture to keep the ISO bellow 800 on most of them. Being limited to a thin dof I shot accordingly.

I don't mind a thin DOF but some of them are looking too grainy anyway. If you're struggling for light, a tripod is a must, that way you can keep your ISO low and use the aperture of your choice without worrying about shutter speed.

I personally like them - especially the color.

Yeah, a tripod would have been nice, I left mine at a friend's house unfortunately. It would have made it a lot easier to nail the focus to boot or do a focus stack.

You would do better for a critique with only one or two shots. No one is likely to give you as specific of a critique if they have to go through so many..

Oddly enough, a lot of threads where I post the 8 pic limit get a lot of response. In my experience, so long as the images are interesting or there is a lot to critique(good or bad), a lot of people will comment. That or maybe it's a crapshoot.

They are sharpened actually, this forum seems to hate photobucket, it stretches the images slightly making them seem even less sharp than the compressed files.

Thanks again everyone!
