OK, it's probably something simple, but this is driving me a little bit crazy. My monitor is calibrated with an Eye-One calibration device, but between the Photoshop Elements RAW editor, regular editor and Windows XP image viewer. Below is an example of what I'm talking about. The two Elements editor windows are pretty close in this example, but you can see the XP viewer is very different. It's much darker and has more of a green tint. When I print my images, the color is usually pretty close to what Elements is showing me, but the image is significantly darker, like the image on the top right.
My thinking is that I'm using the wrong color settings in Elements. I currently have it optimized for printing, but should I use Optimize for Computer Screens or No Optimization instead? Or should I be using one for display and go back and re-edit with another when I send something off to the printers?
