Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

I'm sorry to say that these look horrible... You managed to get a evenly exposed model but the flash and natural light do not blend, which makes this extremely unnatural to look at!

I have to say I agree, but I will offer advice for next time.

Try moving the light to either the left or right side of the camera, don't shoot it directly at the subject from the camera.

Second try a modifier like an umbrella or something to soften the light.

There are also some obvious colour issues going on in this picture, if you are having problems getting a nice white balance try warming up the colour of your flash with a gel, you are looking to match they orange glow of the sun. You can make it work without but just try a few different things, but for starters move that flash!!!

Thx spesmeadeus. I don't use flash very often as I am mainly a sports shooter but have been readin and trying out different things so I will try the gel idea but that is a whole new world to me.
On a side note: I know I got to get the flash off camera but being on a busy road, theres not alot of time to work with so I gave it my best "shot" for what I had but evidently some feel that they cant bear to look at my pixx. I thought this topic was about what the 5dII can do, not a critique of light and flash...;)

Unnatural to look at ≠ Can't bear to look at. To me, it's not just about the gear - it's about the photography part. A 5D2 thread doesn't have to just be about the 5D2, because after all, the 5D2 is just a tool to allow us to produce beautiful works, and comments to go a long way in helping us to achieve that. I'm sure you know that! No one's personally attacking you here - just the photos I guess ;)

Well said.
SBK1, you get no photographic points for shooting in the middle of the road...just points for bravery! So shoot where you can use your tools to the best advantage and lets see something that does that attractive lass justice!
