Omg...I have to sheepishly admit this is something that I've been thinking of doing ever since I saw this photo of yours, Todd. (it was the blurred out stars that sparked my imagination)

I did my first test shots last night. One thing that confused me was I shot at 30s, fired off a strobe about 1-2s into the shot, then moved my pup out of the frame. She showed up half-transparent. Any thoughts as to why? My thinking was too much ambient light was picked up by the long exposure time after I pulled her out of the frame...and if I bumped the ISO from 100 to say, 400, and dropped the exposure to 7.5s it might fix the problem. I ran out of time shortly thereafter...she started eating things that I couldn't see in the dark (Lab, go figure), and her handler -- my fiancee -- was getting cranky. Going to test again tonight.

Nothing terribly fancy. First day with the 5DII and loving it! Definitely feels like an upgrade from the 5Dc.
