i cooled the temp, lowered the saturation and split toned the highlight to a baige with a hint of green and shadows to a desaturated blue/purple in lightroom, then sharpened a bit in CS5.

This is very nice. I like this one better than the one with her not reflecting in the mirror. That would have been an awesome shot if you'd gotten her in the mirror as well doing that. But either way, great shots dude!

Thanks, I was moving quite a lot, so some shots are with reflection and some not. I agree reflection might be more interesting. Here's one I liked a lot

I battled a lot between the 17-40 and the 16-35 II, but in the end, I couldn't justify the $900 increase in price for an extra stop.

Hey CanonGirl01, go to a local thrift store and look for an interesting old suitcase, they are great for children too. We also got a cool footstool that works great too.
