First worthy shot from my 17-40. I had set the exposure set for a shot about 10 minutes before this and didn't have time to adjust - two frames and the birds were scattered.

did an astro timelapse with the 5DM2 and an intervalometer:
ISO 3200, 30-sec exposuse, 15mm fisheye @ f/2.8, one frame every minute, total of 173 frames

minor adjusts in Lightroom, then rendered to video in CS5
