Wassup fellas, just got my 5dmkii this week and from what i have, so far im loving it. I only have the 24-105 to go with it since I sold all my stuff when I sold my 7D. Now im really wishing I didnt let my 70-200 f4 IS go.

Anyway, since im loving the dof this camera gives me, is it advisable to get the nifty fifty or just jump straight to 50 1.4? I just wanted a fast lens in my bag for those times that i really want some thin dof. Who knows, maybe i'll fall in love with a fast prime and start getting addicted to it. Thoughts pls.

^^^ If you can afford it, then 50/1.4 IMO

I already had the 50/1.8 when I went 5D2 so I used that for 8-9months before I decided that since I was using 50mm 99% of the time I'd upgrade to the f/1.4

Been wanting to do a floating shot for a while now with a play on words for my Macbook Air, I know I should have made myself more infocus for this shot, but I want the main focus to be on the floating laptop.

That´s a difficult one, but you already have the 50mm covered so buy the 85L.

Nicely done - I'd like a nice, bigger desk like that but that's just more space to dump junk on to :)

^Haha She looks so serious! Nice shot!

Just released a new blog post of this series! I guess I should say that it's not safe for work by the standard of most people, but yeah...
