I didn't sleep last night, and I shot some photos at sunrise. It was pretty cool!

Thanks,

It's proving challenging to get a good shot with the 35L, due to sudden "dog attacks" at close range :)

Here's another

Having learnt on a manual camera (no such thing as AF when I started) I've never found the AF on the 5DII to be a problem.

Wow, that shot is SO crisp. I admire your panning and focusing skills!! bw!

Great use of sepia Stefano! I really like this one.

I ended up with a total of 46 layers :D

How long did it take to process?

geno.ca wrote in post #11276490 (external link)
Craziness. Some day I'd like to see you process an image.

That's almost as nice as my Relaxation Room. :)

I would too. You should do a youtube series. ;)

You wish Geno.

I have the same problem with my dog. He's too inquisitive and I rarely get him sitting still long enough to get a shot. I guess that's part of the fun?

Thanks. Ya, I borrowed a 24-70 the night before I left. I'm not much of a landscape shooter so I didn't have a tripod either. I had to go to the other side of the island to a radioshack for this cheap Targus tripod that couldn't hold the 5D. It was real fun

Well for not being much of a landscape shooter it's a great shot. Being a landscape shooter it would be a great shot too. ;) The horizon is only a minor niggle and only because I always look at that. lol

Martin, this looks like it was a great spot! You might try a little different pose though. Maybe one hand on her hip, turned a little more to one side, weight on one foot? Just a few suggestions... Square to the camera is usually a masculine pose and not flattering to a woman.

Hat's off to her for standing barefoot in there! :)
