Ya, I borrowed a 24-70 the night before I left. I'm not much of a landscape shooter so I didn't have a tripod either. I had to go to the other side of the island to a radioshack for this cheap Targus tripod that couldn't hold the 5D. It was real fun ![]() Easy to fix the horizon in PPing. Great photo by the way. Love the colors... Cameras - Canon 350D, 5D

Just yesterday it was 50 degrees and sunny. This morning I wake up and find out it has snowed almost 6 inches over night, and accumulated up to a foot by the end of the day. Gotta love Minnesnowta! Being a landscape shooter it would be a great shot too. The horizon is only a minor niggle and only because I always look at that. lolWell, I thought I'm in Hawaii I need to get some good shots on the beach. I was really liking it, so I'm ordering a 17-40 real soon. This was my first photo posted after a very long time on the forums I'm glad it turned out good. I took a lot of photos at this location. I really wanted to post and was in a hurry so I just grabbed this photo and processed it. I might have some with a proper horizon, if not I'm going to have to do that. Thanks

Martin.D Goldmember More info | geno.ca wrote in post #11281299 Martin, this looks like it was a great spot! You might try a little different pose though. Maybe one hand on her hip, turned a little more to one side, weight on one foot? Just a few suggestions... Square to the camera is usually a masculine pose and not flattering to a woman. Hat's off to her for standing barefoot in there! ![]() You're probably right and good advice! I have many photos from this session in many different poses, for this photo I think some how it relates to the environment Web Site
