Here are a few from the 4th Grade football game yesterday. It was a 12:00 game. Shot with MkIIn and 300 2.8.

Well done. It's hard to get the lights under the masks, but you did great. I've been taking pics for my buddies kids the past few weeks but all the games are like 8am, so there are so many shadows.

If there is going to be changing conditions (ie. cloudy), I will shoot Av with +2/3 EC. I will adjust the iso to keep the shutter speed up. I really don't like shooting back-lit sports photos. That's just my personal taste.

Thanks Kevin. I will try that next weekend. I shoot at 2.8 mostly and try to get the sun at my back. I have been adjusting levels to brighten up the shadows, but that's a lot of work with a lot of images..

I do not normally post in the sports post, but these are very lively for 4th graders...you did a great job catching the action and the faces!

just a few of my thoughts...
