BTW, I could be not thinking right, but if you don't mind investing in a 1.4x TC there doesn't seem to be any reason to go with the 400 over the 300 that I can see. Can somone clue me in? I see a lot of people with this lens so I'm curious. Well a naked prime is generally sharper than a prime+TC. Also the TC sill affect AF performance.
