The 100mm 2.8 has some nice bokeh. Don't care for the 50mm 1.8 bokeh even though they are some nice shots.

Here is a shot from the Fort Worth Botanical gardens yesterday. I was using my 350XT and my 100-400L . Johnathan

That was at 400mm at 6 feet. I love this lens and previously owned a 70-200F4 with the same type of bokeh.How do you like your 17-40's bokeh ? I see your in Charlotte. Do you work for the major carrier there? I work for the major at DFW. I am a jetmech also ha ha. Johnathan

To be honest I have not tested the bokeh on my 17-40, but I love it on my 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8. I work for a (semi) major cargo airline. AA is the major carrier out of Dallas?????? Glad to see a few other jetmech's hanging around here.
