Very lovely.I would almost be tempted to crop out towards the lily itself, as the pad is already cut anyways?

Very lovely shot. I agree with Flo on the cropping suggestion.

Yep, either show the entire leaf, or crop to pretty much just the flower.

wow .. nice pic !!

i agree with the crop but it helps to show the contrast as well .. so it is matter of taste ..

my eye keeps looking at the the lilly at 9 , 6 , 3 clock at edges are bit distracting as the flower is aging .. maybe u can clone that to make it a "perfect" lilly

I love it, but the cutoff leaf is distracting.

Very nice. I like the contrast between the leaf and the colors of the Lily. I also like seeing the surface tension of the water against the leaf.

The lily almost appears to be lit up from inside.

Light seems a bit harsh, but nice otherwise.

I love it, but the cutoff leaf is distracting.

Gestalt Laws of Perceptual Organization - Law of Closure. The mind sees a round leaf and keeps trying to 'see' the whole leaf. Cutting off more of the leaf will help reduce the distraction.

The lily is awesome - it looks unreal.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I didn't crop the left. That's the composition I had taken the shot as. I tried cropping closer to the flower, but didn't like it at all.

I had thought about taking out the "dead" parts of the flower, but then decided against it. I might go at it again and see if I can clean it up some.
